Motorola revealed the Moto Razr back in late 2019 and although the device created a fuss in the smartphone market thanks to the foldable design, the specs were not much to talk about.
Cut to now, the device went on sale and is now up for pre-orders for the Verizon carrier user in the US stipulating that there is a high demand for the new foldable phone from Motorola.
The Moto Razr is priced at $1499.99 while you can get the device for 24 monthly payments at $62.49. The phone will be shipped by February 18, 2020. You can visit the website here.
What is more interesting that Motorola dropped quite a few videos, 6 to be specific, to showcase the smartphone before users can get their hands on the Moto Razr.
The first clip titled ‘Discover Razr’ showcases the design of the Moto Razr and some titbits about the secondary screen, camera, and other features.
The next video gives us a glimpse of the unboxing of the device and the accessories the device tags along in the box content. Apart from the turbocharger, there is a pair of Razr earbuds as well. The video also showcases that there will be a seamless transfer of data from the old phone to the Razr.
The third video shows that the new Moto Razr is water repellent and comes with nano-coating. So, basically the video is all about how to take care of the smartphone.
Importantly the forth video highlights that users should not use a screen protector since the Razr already comes with a protective coating. Also stating that “Screen is made to bend; bumps and lumps are normal”, so should not be a cause to worry.
Since the Galaxy Fold fell prey to the ‘broken-screen’ fiasco, Motorola wants to take a cautious step with their foldable Moto Razr. Moreover, the screen of the device is made from plastic which is bound to have a crease in the foldable region.
In fact, Motorola has also given the warning to close the device before putting it inside the pocket to avoid any screen damage making it clear that the screen is fragile.
Whereas the fifth video displays all the new gestures and in-built moto experiences that users can enjoy on their Moto Razr.
The last video is all about the camera and the final video displays all the cool new tricks the Moto Razr camera has up its sleeves.
So, all in all, Motorola released these videos in order to give the users a glimpse of all the important aspects of the Moto Razr before it makes its way into the hands of the customers expectedly, after Samsung’s Unpacked event on February 11.
Let us know what are your thoughts about the new Moto Razr and are you thinking to get one for yourself or not.
