Motorola is one of the oldest telecommunications company in the world. The company has seen its fair share of highs and lows in the smartphone market.

The company brought in its first Android smartphone in 2009. However, they haven’t been able to be one of the best providers of updates for its devices. Also, there’s a lack of a beefy flagship devices that can give a tough competition to the likes of Samsung, OnePlus, Huawei & others.

But, the company is trying hard to make some impact in the smartphone market as they have recently announced their entry in high-end 5G enabled smartphone segment joining the likes of Samsung. This announcement was made in IFA 2019 held in Berlin, the previous month.

According to a report, Motorola’s Global Marketing Strategy Head, Francoise LaFlamme, confirmed that the company will be coming up with premium 5G smartphones. Another report brings in more positivity, as it shows that Motorola is slowly thriving in the U.S., not with a huge number but, better than their previous performance.

Coming to recent development, Motorola has rolled out the September 2019 security patch for the Moto X4. The company previously announced the update, and now it is finally hitting the units with version number PPW29.69-39-6.

Below is the official changelog and the screenshot shared by one of the users:
