Xiaomi.eu is perhaps one of the most popular custom ROMs available for most Xiaomi devices and it isn’t even based on AOSP. The builds are all products of the latest Chinese beta branch and are released to supported devices on a weekly basis.

We are all aware that Xiaomi changed their beta program tactics a while ago. Earlier, the beta program was available to both Chinese and global users. This apparently didn’t seem to go down too well with Xiaomi and they decided to do away with global builds.

Thus there was a huge gap in terms of new features enjoyed by the Chinese users and those that are made available globally. Of course, such new features do get merged into the global stable branch eventually, but not everyone is that patient.

That’s where Xiaomi.eu comes in. It is a community-run project that ports Chinese beta builds along with a bunch of extra goodies for all to enjoy. These goodies include a completely ad-free experience and no bloatware.

Moreover, Chinese MIUI beta builds don’t really include any Google apps and services which the guys at Xiaomi.eu take care of as well. Lastly, there’s the case of missing translation strings for which again Xiaomi.eu comes to the rescue.

Now, Xiaomi has actually introduced a global pilot testing program for a select group of devices but builds under the program are yet to be rolled out. Further, it isn’t exactly clear if they’re truly set to be based on MIUI 12.5, even though all evidence does point in that direction.

It is clear now that global users are being left out. But the community MIUI 12.5 builds by Xiaomi.eu can help change that. A recent weekly update was released which was totally worth highlighting and you are free to give it a try.

The update is based on the latest MIUI 12.5 beta 21.3.3 update and the full list of supported devices for the same has been given below:
