As per the schedule, Xiaomi unveiled the MIUI 11 in a felicitous event on September 24. The Chinese OEM created multiple methods for end users to have the access of the newest software update. Besides the closed beta, public testing builds will be available from today (October 27).

Matter of fact, some internal builds got leaked right after the announcement. Mi 9 and Redmi K20 Pro were merely the tip of the iceberg, as the folks over the Xiaomi Firmware Updater project tracked a bunch of the OTA update URLs for multiple Mi and Redmi phones.

Well well well, there is a catch. First of all, Redmi Note 6 Pro or the charismatic Poco F1 is not part of the list. The reason is simple, as both phones are not sold in China, and thus they don’t have Chinese beta builds. Secondly, those beta builds require whitelisted Mi account for proper flashing.

Worry not, as the our friends at xiaomi.eu project carefully picked the latest beta of MIUI 11 (9.9.26), removed the bloats, added multiple languages and prepared them for easy flashing using TWRP.

A total of 27 phones are currently supported under the first batch of MIUI 11, which includes popular ones like Redmi Note 7 Pro, Mi MIX 2S, Redmi K20 aka Mi 9T etc. The last one also runs Android 10 under the MIUI 11 skin.

The device specific updated packages can be downloaded from this or this link. As far as we know, Xiaomi pulled back the update for Mi 8 for some unknown reasons. As a result, the xiaomi.eu team was unable to prepare the package for the Pocophone F1 (both phone share common codebase).

We hope the roster will be expanded further in the coming weeks. FYI, xiaomi.eu has dropped support for phones running Android Nougat since the transition to MIUI 11.
