This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..
Original story (published on Nov 11, 2019) follows:
With a long list of smartphones under its portfolio, Xiaomi has shifted gears in pushing out the latest iteration of MIUI i.e. the MIUI 11 for its devices.
Note that, devices need not run on Android 10 for being eligible to receive the update. Xiaomi has pushed the MIUI 11 update even for devices running on Nougat as well (e.g. Mi Max 2).
And in a recent development, Xiaomi has ticked off two more devices from the list of devices receiving the MIUI 11 update. The latest version of MIUI is now available for Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus in China. Moreover, this new update is based on Android Oreo.
To recall, Mi 5s and 5s Plus both were launched in 2016 and came with Android Marshmallow out of the box. Later both the devices got the Nougat and Oreo update which means that the Android Pie update is highly unlikely.
Nonetheless, this new MIUI 11 update brings in a lot of cool new features for both the devices, for instance, new UI design, sounds of nature, new and improved document viewer, redefined system settings and more.
Let us take a look at the updates received on both the devices, one by one.

Additionally, you get a single 12 MP main camera along with a 4 MP selfie shooter with the fingerprint scanner mounted on the back.
Now talking about the update, it carries version number V11.0.2.0.OAGCNXM and weighs in about 1.68 GB in size. So, we would recommend you to download it via a stable internet connection.
