There has been some pretty impressive addition to Samsung’s smartphone’s collection with the introduction of the Galaxy S20 series. Apart from that, the mid-budget A and M series have also managed to carve out a name for itself.
With the screen size ranging anywhere between 6 to near about 7 inches, streaming on these displays can truly be a rich experience. Bringing some more good news to this aspect, Netflix has just updated its list of HD and HDR10 supported devices, and a majority of those belong to Samsung.
From the newly launched S20 series to other devices from the S, A and M series, many have seen the addition to this list. For the uninitiated, in order for the devices to stream Netflix’s HD and HDR content, getting certified for the Widevine DRM’s L1 is obviously a requirement.
But that is not the sole prerequisite.
Another important requirement is that your smartphone should be having a High Dynamic Range (HDR) display and that it should pass some of Netflix’s own internal tests. That said, here’s the list of all Samsung devices that have been recently added to the Netflix HD and HDR10 compatible list.
