Even though it has been almost 6 months since the launch of Android 10, OEMs are still unable to properly roll out the firmware for their devices.

The same is the case for LG as well. On one hand, the brand is finding it difficult to keep up with the rapid pace the smartphone market is evolving and on the other, LG is also falling behind in providing the latest software updates to its devices.

Moreover, in the recent past, users have also become aware of the importance of the latest updates and it has become one of the key factors for a smartphone brand to sustain in the market.

However, going by a recent development, when users of the LG V35 ThinQ are waiting for the Android 10 (LG UX 9.0) update on their phone, the company has pushed in a new security update for it.

The LG V35 ThinQ is slated to receive the Android 10 (LG UX 9.0) update in Q2 of 2020, which starts from today.

And for the LG V40 users, those who were waiting for the Android 10 update, there is some good news, as the company has made the Android 10 Kernel source code live for the LG V40 units on its OpenSource Code Distribution website.
