Xiaomi is one of the leading smartphone manufacturers in the world and particularly in India. It has grown leaps and bounds and has captured the mid-range and upper mid-range segment.

All thanks to the featureful devices that the company offers and its huge portfolio of brilliant smartphones, Xiaomi crossed the mark of selling 100 million smartphones in a span of five years in India. Confirming this, VP and MD of Xiaomi, Manu Kumar Jain tweeted:

Besides, according to a report by Canalys, for straight 8th quarter, Xiaomi remains on top in terms of shipment by brands in India. It shipped over 10.3 million smartphones in the Q2 of 2019.

Indeed this year has been very good for the Chinese smartphone manufacturer and keeping up with this positivity, Xiaomi has rolled out the latest September 2019 security update for the Mi 8 Pro smartphone. However, apart from the latest security patch, the update does not seem to bring in ay other feature to your device.

The Mi 8 Pro was announced on September 2018 and is powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset. It is paired with 6/8GB of RAM and has an internal capacity of 128GB.
