Huawei P40 Pro leaked screen protector shows off a "Quad-curved overflow" design

The Huawei P40 Pro and its siblings will be unveiled in a few weeks’ time and in readiness for this launch, the Chinese company has openly admitted that the devices will be powered by Android 10 OS out of the box.

However, as you may be aware, the company still has no access to Google Mobile Services (GMS). GMS is the set of Google apps that usually come pre-installed on Android devices, among them the Google Play Store and Services.

Due to these issues, the Huawei P40 series and other Huawei/Honor devices that launch without GMS will come preinstalled with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS). This was also the case with the Huawei Mate 30 family that came out late last year.

Apparently, Huawei is gearing up to release a P40 Pro smartphone designed like never before. To ice the cake, the device will also bring improved photography, performance, and superior automation.

As the March 2020 release date draws ever closer, some details of the phone’s design have surfaced online giving us an early look into what the display panel will look like when the phone arrives.

In a series of tweets, an alleged screen protector of the Huawei P40 Pro has leaked revealing what looks a mainstream design on smartphones these days that pushes the bezels further towards the edges of the device.

There is also talk of a punch hole in the display screen for the selfie camera, which should be a good way of doing away with the notch. When the P40 Pro screen protector is viewed from the side is when you see what Huawei is talking about when it says the device will be unique.

The display screen will supposedly be curved in a rather unique design, as seen in the shot below.

With over a month to go before the Huawei P40 Pro arrives, we should see more of these leaks popping up left and right, so you better buckle up because the road is going to be bumpy.
