Huawei has quite a bunch of devices still waiting for the EMUI 10 (Android 10) update. But in a recent development, four devices are getting a new build of EMUI 10 updates.

Notably, Huawei Nova 5 Pro, MediaPad M6, Huawei MatePad Pro and Mate X are being served with a new EMUI 10 update. Currently, the Huawei Nova 5 Pro and MediaPad M6 are grabbing the update in China whereas the MatePad Pro is getting the update in the US.

Let us take a look at the updates received on the devices, one by one:

Huawei Nova 5 Pro

Huawei Nova 5 Pro is getting the EMUI 10 beta update with the version number V10.0.0.152. To recall, Huawei Nova 5 Pro is powered by the Kirin 980 Chipset with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.

At the front, it sports a 32 MP Camera and on the rear, there is a quad-camera setup with a 48 MP primary camera. It is backed by a 3,500 mAh battery.

Huawei MediaPad M6

Notably, both the MediaPad M6 variants i.e. the 10.8-inch and 8.4-inch is getting the latest EMUI 10 update. Both the devices are getting the update with version number v10.0.0.220 and it weighs in around 156 MB in size.

Keep in mind that the update has been pushed for the internal beta users in China. Below is the official changelog for MediaPad M6 10.8-inch and 8.4-inch.

– Fixed the issue that some third-party apps clicking the back button in parallel view mode would not work.

[Display]
– Fixed the problem of flat-screen display after connecting a large 4K screen in some scenarios.
– Fix the problem that the desktop wallpaper displayed abnormally in some scenes.

– Fixed the issue of stuttering on the desktop after updating the system in some scenes.

However, users should be upgraded to v10.0.0.210 and you do not have rooted your device in order to receive this latest update via OTA.

Huawei Mate X

Huawei Mate X is also getting a new beta update with version number v10.0.1.110 and users who are on v9.1.1.153 can also upgrade to the latest version.

Huawei MatePad Pro

The latest EMUI 10 (Android 10) update is arriving with the version number v10.0.1.151 and weighs in around 603MB in size. As mentioned above, the update is being served for the users in the US.

The update brings in a lot of bug fixes for the device, for instance, system stability fixes, multi-screen collaboration fixes as well bugfixes for the Bluetooth.

Changelog:
This update improves the user experience with the stylus, and also fixes some known issues in certain situations.

As always the update will be pushed via OTA in batches and will take some time in hitting all the units. Users can head to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Update to manually download the updates.

Or else you can also get the updates via the Hicare app by heading to HiCare > Update > Check for updates.
