Huawei has already captured Apple’s market share in their home country. And if you talk about their global presence, a recent report by Counterpoint’s Market Monitor service revealed the company’s share in global smartphone market touched its highest ever level of 17% in the first quarter.

Considering the Chinese OEM has their largest user base in China, all updates on Huawei/Honor phones are first pushed to the Chinese variants followed by the global ones. Moreover, Google’s absence in the region is an added benefit which accelerates the update process.
