Huawei is going to bring in a new smartphone for the user in India. Notably, the Honor 9X is due for release on January 14, 2020. In fact, the device packs in quite decent specs. Note that the device is already available across China and Europe.
For specs buff, the Honor 9X features Kirin 710F chipset with 4/6 GB of RAM, offers up to 128 GB of onboard storage, a 4,000 mAh battery, a 6.59-inch display.
In the camera department, it sports a triple 48 MP+ 8 MP+ 2 MP camera setup at the back and a motorized 16 MP pop-up camera. The fingerprint is placed at the back of the device.
With all these specs, the device is surely a good alternative for users looking for a decent mid-ranger. However, not all that looks good is actually good.
According to user reports on various platforms, Honor 9X is not compatible with Netflix. Moreover, some Chinese users have also reported that the device only supports SD Netflix streaming.
@Netflixhelps Will the Honor 9x also get the option with Netflix to play movies/series in HD instead of SD? In my Netflix settings the maximum play resolution is SD, while my old Samsung S6 has Full HD as maximum play resolution.

Matter of fact, several users running Honor 9X with Google apps have also reported that their device does not pass the SafetyNet test. And it suggests that, broken SafetyNet might be the reason for the in-compatibility of Netflix with Honor 9X.
Fortunately, thanks to Redditor u/RichBug7, there is a workaround for installing Netflix on the Honor 9X smartphone which is fairly simple and easy.
All you gotta do is download an old version of the Netflix app from here, and simply install the app on your Honor 9X like any normal installation you would do from a third-party source.
2 months back I bought an HONOR 9x Pro from Aliexpress, through the internet tutorials I was able to install all the Google apps. I saw people complained about Netflix not working on these phones, I Tried an older version of Netflix app and it worked! Download here: [ https://drive.google.com/open?id=1wXtw-FPyK35gzomRyNenQakNao6PBY6U ] all the banking apps working fine ( including Google pay ) so happy with the phone currently, Bang for the Buck! cheers ?

So, with this simple solution, you can use the Netflix app on your Honor device. However, note that we cannot confirm that this also fixes the HD streaming issue some users are having on their devices.
Let us know in the comments below if this workaround fixes the issue on your smartphone or not.
