New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Huawei started testing Android Q beta in May 2019, but like other vendors that got their devices into the program at the time, the early version of the new OS was meant for app developers.

Despite this early access, only a handful of non-Google devices have received a stable update to Android 10. Fast-forward to November 2019, no Huawei smartphone has picked up the new OS in its stable form, which is no surprise whatsoever.

On the brighter side, Huawei has been busy pushing the beta version of the OS to eligible devices back at home in China as well as in other markets across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.

Today, folks in India are next in line, at least if you own any of the Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro or Honor View 20. These three are now welcome to try Android 10 beta that brings the brand new Magic UI 3.0 skin on top of AOSP, replacing the popular EMUI skin that we’ve known for years.

The ongoing Magic UI 3.0 beta recruitment program will end on November 11 and beginning November 15 to November 18, the OTA will be availed to successful applicants. Of worth noting is that the slots available for each device are limited, so be quick to it.

If interested in trying Magic UI 3.0 beta based on Android 10 on your Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro or View 20, head over to this page for more details. Do keep in mind that beta software is unfinished and not suitable to use as your daily driver.

The previous Honor 9N update in India brought with it August security patches, so be sure to grab the incoming version considering that it bundles September patches as well.

Despite the size of the OTA, there isn’t much to celebrate about besides the new security patch, but as usual, you can expect various bug fixes and performance improvements after this update.

Update 1 (November 16, 2019)

International Honor 20 & 20 Pro units are receiving Android 10 based stable Magic UI 3.0 update alongside Honor View 20. The OTA is live via HiCare too. Details here.

Update 2 (February 05, 2020)

Nearly three months since the stable View 20 Android 10 update arrived, many owners of the device in other markets are still waiting on the update. Here’s the current status of the update.
