Honor has recently pushed in November 2019 security updates for a couple of devices namely Honor 10 and Honor 7A. Notably, the updates are purely incremental in nature and do not bring in any new feature for the device.

Moreover, if we go by the official timeline shared by Huawei (the parent company of Honor) for the rollout of Android 10 based EMUI 10 and Magic UI 3.0, Honor 10 is slated to receive the beta update by mid-December.

Being an entry level device, Honor 7A might not receive further major version updates anymore. Nonetheless, regular security updates is still a big bonus for the owners of the phone.

Keep in mind, the update for the Honor devices is also being pushed via OTA and will take some time in hitting all the devices. However, you can check for the updates by heading to Settings > About phone > System updates to check for OTA updates manually.

Happy installing!
