Any Galaxy S model is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated Android flagships of the corresponding year. These devices pack the very latest internals and killer design to go with it. Premium devices these are, and they carry a price tag to match.

This is no secret why speculation about the next model in the lineup is rife. We have seen numerous leaks and speculations surrounding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11. These have included things like the battery capacitycamera placement and sensor details and everything in between.

But when shall we see this device being unveiled?

Traditionally, Samsung Unboxed, the event in which Samsung unveils its flagship device often comes in Q1 of every year. This means that we should see the launch somewhere in February or March 2020. But when exactly?

In a new development to the story, it might seem that Samsung would launch the device sooner than expected. New leaks indicate that we might see the Galaxy S11 being unveiled as soon as February 11, 2020 – nearing the date by a week.

According to a recent report (via SamMobile), the global audience will also see Samsung unveiling its second generation of the foldable phone, presumably the Galaxy Fold 2, in that release event. We know that the new foldable will be based on a clamshell design.

There is still so much surrounding the upcoming flagship from Samsung that we don’t know yet. One such issue is the name.

Rumor has it that Samsung will break away from its usual naming theme for the new Galaxy, calling it the Galaxy S20. This, according to reports, it because the company wants to make their 2020 flagship a new era in smartphones.
