Samsung is undoubtedly one of the top players in the smartphone industry today. The Korean company pulls out all the stops with its flagships, the Galaxy S and Note lineups. This means that for anyone looking for a premium Android experience, chances are, Samsung is their go-to.

These devices have been incredibly well updated; especially considering that in the past, Samsung used to have a pretty bad reputation when it comes to pushing out updates. Safe to say the company has cleaned up its act in that regard.

The Galaxy Note 10 lineup is eligible for Android 10 based One UI 2.0 beta testing

Besides the Galaxy Note 10, the Galaxy S10 family of phones are under One UI 2.0 beta testing for a while now. In total, they have received a whopping 6 updates based on Android 10. In fact, a seventh beta appeared out of the blue two days ago.

For the time being, this major bugfix update (from ZSKJ to ZSKL) was available in Korea and US carrier unlocked variants of Galaxy S10. Cut to now, the rollout gets far more broader.

Here is the changelog for beta 7 (ZSKL) on US carrier locked (SM-G97xU) models:

The same beta build is also available on the Indian Exynos variant of Galaxy S10. We hope other European countries will get it soon.

From the changelog, it is rather clear that Samsung is not focussing on pushing out any more features. It is turning its focus to fixing the existing bugs and issues that have no doubt, been raised through its beta testing program. And rightfully so. Samsung’s timeline for rolling out Android 10-based One UI 2.0 is quickly coming up, and Samsung is right on time to deliver as promised.

Thanks to the enthusiastic community members, we have the download links of the incremental update packages (Exynos only).

Other Samsung devices, including the Note 9 and the S9 family should be getting the update at some point afterward. Already we have seen beta recruitments for the former.
