Samsung Galaxy S10 5G owners in Korea started receiving the stable One UI 2.0 update based on Android 10 a couple of days ago, becoming only the fourth Samsung device to pick up the OS.

Late last month, the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ started receiving the One UI 2.0 update in stable version. While the initial rollout was limited to those who took part in the beta program in select regions, the wider rollout has since commenced.

Today, more markets have received the stable Galaxy S10 Android 10 update, be it on units that took part in the One UI 2.0 beta program or those that didn’t.

As it stands, Samsung is using the same strategy to roll out the Galaxy S10 5G Android 10 update. As noted, the rollout started earlier this week, but so far, only those who participated in the beta program have received it.

Furthermore, the rollout is still limited to the Korean market but if history is anything to go by, the wider rollout of the stable OTA shouldn’t be too far away.

When asked about the status of the wider rollout, a Samsung rep said that Galaxy S10 5G units coming from Android Pie may have to wait for a few more days before they get their stable One UI 2.0 update.

Galaxy Note 10 One UI 2.0 beta 5 was unexpected

Earlier this week, a Samsung rep revealed that the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ would get only four One UI 2.0 beta updates after which the stable rollout would be released.

As I write this, the Note 10 duo already picked up its fifth One UI 2.0 beta update, something the Samsung rep claims was unexpected. Apparently, this should be the last beta the device picks but in case of any issues, there could be more delays to the stable rollout.

I was surprised that the fifth car came out. Hopefully the 5th will be the final version. If the version keeps coming out, the full version will be delayed.

To be fair, though, the same rep also said the Galaxy S10 5G Android 10 update was imminent and indeed, the stable rollout is ongoing as we speak. Granted, the stable Note 10 Android 10 update should arrive soon.
