New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on October 20, 2020) follows:
Samsung has been working on its in-house Android 11-based custom skin, One UI 3.0, for quite some time and the Galaxy Note 20 series is now in line to get the beta version soon.
The public beta versions of One UI 3.0 are out for the Galaxy S20 series devices in Korea and the US while the same is expected for the Galaxy Note 20 series.
It was reported earlier that the public beta update for the Galaxy Note 20 series was ready but the wait for the same has been on ever since.
Now, some new development appears to have surfaced which suggests that the Galaxy Note 20 series might start receiving the public beta soon.
A new update version ATJ1 is being rolled out to the Galaxy Note 20 series devices with several optimizations.
The latest update makes the camera more usable and terminal operation more stabilized along with device security enhancements.
While it does not seem like a major update, it might very well be a preparatory update for the Galaxy Note 20 series devices.
Also, a Samsung Care Ambassador has specified that One UI 3.0 forums have been created for the Galaxy Note 20 series and registration is expected to start soon.
The OEM has not made any official announcements on the matter yet but the latest information appears quite credible.
It must be noted that the One UI 3.0 (Android 11) beta registration for the Galaxy Note 20 series has already begun in India.
However, it is still unclear when the OEM is planning to kick start the same for the Galaxy Note 20 series devices in other regions.
That said, we will keep tracking this for further development and will provide more details once new information becomes available.
In the meantime, you can check out our Samsung Android 11 (One UI 3.0) update tracker to get the latest updates on the topic.

Update 2 (October 23)

Further, it seems that the beta program for the Note 20 series has also gone live in Germany for the company’s 2020 flagship Note series devices.
