Galaxy Note series is Samsung’s premium flagship smartphone lineup that brings in the latest and greatest the company has to offer. But, if we look back in 2019, the picture has been slightly different.
Instead of a single Note device, Samsung pitched in two Note 10s i.e. the standard Note 10 and the Note 10 Plus. There are quite a few differences between both the devices.
Notably, the Galaxy Note 10 Plus sports an extra ToF (Time of Flight) sensor, that helps it to deliver brilliant bokeh effect while capturing an image.
With the help of this ToF sensor on the Galaxy Note 10 Plus, you can also use a special feature called 3D scanner that allows the user to create 3D models of live objects.
Though it sounds perfect, in reality, it was a hit and miss affair. But, according to a recent development, a new update is available for the 3D Scanner app.
This new update not only improves and enhances the stability of the app but also brings in a new feature called the Person Mode. It lets the user define objects between a person and a thing while scanning.
Matter of fact, this app also supports other Galaxy devices, like Galaxy S10 5G, and Galaxy A80, that have the ToF (Time of Flight) sensor.
Overall, we can now expect it to perform with more stability and the quality of the scans might also get better with this new update. Note that the 3D Scanner app is available for download from Samsung’s Galaxy Store.
Moreover, if you already have the app, you can head straight to the Galaxy Store and look for an update for this app. You can also check for other third party sources for manual sideloading.
Let us know in the comments below if you have got the update and what new improvements this new update brings in for the app.
