The tenth anniversary edition of Galaxy S phones feature a budget conscious variant named Galaxy S10e. Samsung excluded the ultrasonic fingerprint reader in favor of a traditional capacitive scanner and opted for a smaller (5.8 inches) display.
Be it the battery capacity (3,100 mAh) or the camera setup (two rear cameras), Galaxy S10e is truly the long-anticipated compact flagship.
Well, the Korean OEM is trying to bring the same flavor to the Note lineup. Numerous leaks have suggested that a ‘Lite’ variant of Galaxy Note 10 is in the pipeline, and we already have the possible pricing details.
Notorious leakster OnLeaks managed to publish the render of this upcoming phone. The headphone jack is allegedly there, which seems to be a good news for audiophiles.
The recent leak regarding Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes from Sudhanshu Ambhore. The phone (model number SM-N770F) is now certified by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which means the India release is quite imminent.
The model number was confirmed earlier, when a GeekBench entry popped up last month. Samsung is going to reuse the legacy Exynos 9810 SoC, which was used in Galaxy S9 as well as Note 9.
The factory installed OS should be Android 10, and a 6 GB RAM variant is also confirmed by the benchmark result.
The phone is also certified by Wi-Fi Alliance, thus Samsung is pretty much prepared for launching the phone across the globe. The inclusion of an older processor is indeed a questionable choice, but Exynos 9810 is still a very capable platform thanks to its 10 nm fabrication process.
