The Korean smartphone giant, Samsung is trying to cover all it’s based before it moves on to its next target, which is the Android 10 and One UI 2.0 for its compatible smartphones. Seeing the competition surface in the smartphone world this year, Samsung does not want to leave any stones unturned.
Moreover, in the recent past, the company has rolled out the latest security patches as well as updates for bug fixes on various smartphones. The Android security update cycle plan of Samsung shows us the path that the company is following, going forward.
This year has been one of the busiest years for Samsung as they brought in an entirely new smartphone lineup called the M-series that targets the mid-range customers.
Besides this, they also revamped the Galaxy A series with new device introductions and bringing in some more innovations (the camera module of the Galaxy A80) as well. Also, not to forget the two flagships of the year, Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series.
You can also tout this year as a successful year as Samsung’s efforts to push out latest updates have been fruitful, as they were recently, placed in the 2nd position under the Android version share for top 10 manufacturers for Q3 2018-Q2 2019 category by Counterpoint Research.
Around 89% of Samsung devices sold after Q3 2018 is already running on the Android 9 Pie OS. Moreover, according to research by IDC (International Data Corporation), Samsung saw good growth in terms of mobile shipments for Q2 of 2019 as compared to Q2 of 2018.
Keeping up with this pace and success, Samsung has rolled out the latest September 2019 security patch for the Galaxy A70 smartphone. But, that’s not it, because the update also brings in major features like Super Steady Mode (Rear Camera). improves the stability of the camera, touch screen performance improvements, and more.
Talking about the update, it carries the build number A705FNXXU3ASI2 however, the size of the update is not known. We would recommend you to download the update on a stable mobile data or WiFi connection.

Previously, we have reported that the Galaxy A70 received the August security update along with improvements in the touchscreen and fingerprint recognition. And with this update, the security patch level bumps up to September 2019 with further improvements and new features.
This new update has been reportedly confirmed by the users in Ukraine but it is expected to roll out to other regions as well. You can always check for it manually by heading to Settings>> Software Update>> Download update manually. If there is no notification for a new update then you need to have patience and let the update arrive in your region.
