Is Boom Beach, a popular mobile combat strategy game with turtles, currently down for you? Well, fret not. It’s not you alone. The game servers are under maintenance, meaning the entire userbase is affected.

The Boom Beach official Twitter account revealed an hour ago that the maintenance is for some major server migration work. Following are the exact words:

We will shortly be heading into maintenance for some major server migration work

The downtime for this one will possibly be a bit longer than usual – 2 hours – but we will be back to Booming as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience, Commanders!

Here’s the tweet:

As you can see, the developer says the downtime could be longer than the usual time period of 2 hours. So hang in tight. Rest assured, we’ll update this story as and when there’s something newsworthy.
