In the recent past, the demand for gaming smartphones has increased thanks to the specs these devices offer, for instance, the high refresh rate up to 120 Hz, bigger battery, bigger display, better stereo speakers, cooling system, etc
A lot of gaming companies are also coming up with high graphics games that require a lot of juice out of your smartphone for which the gaming phones are better equipped to handle them.
And talking about Android gaming phones, one of the name that pops-up is Black Shark. For naive, Black Shark is a smartphone company that has built gaming phones like Black Shark and Black Shark 2.
Notably, the company brought in its last gaming device i.e. the Black Shark 2 in March 2019 and as the new year has begun, speculations about the third-gen device are making rounds of the internet.
Matter of fact, recently, Black Shark has announced a partnership with Tencent (known for games like PUBG and COD) to bring out innovation in gaming both in terms of hardware and software.
This partnership was made public in a Weibo post (Chinese variant of Twitter), stating:
Tencent Games and Black Shark formally cooperated in the field of game phones to explore innovations in game functions at the software and hardware levels to provide users with a more diverse gaming experience.
This is not the first time Tencent has gotten itself in a partnership with a smartphone company as last year it joined hands with Asus for the ROG Phone 2.
The benefit of this partnership was, Asus unveiled a Tencent customized Elite version of the ROG Phone II in China for a lower price.
And going by this new partnership with Tencent. it has given rise to similar expectations and who knows, we might see an Tencent Elite version of Black Shark 3.
However, not much has been revealed about the phone but it is rumored to have a 120 Hz display with options to change the refresh rate between 60 Hz, 90 Hz and 120 Hz.
We will have to wait and watch for any further developments in this regard. In the meantime, let us know your thoughts about this collaboration and whether this would benefit Black Shark 3 or not?
