The latest installment in Ubisoft’s popular Assassin’s Creed franchise is Valhalla. The game explores the life of Eivor, who’s seeking revenge for his father’s murder.
Valhalla is truly a breathtaking experience, both visually and story-wise, as highlighted by players and critics often.
Ubisoft regularly adds new content to the game in the form of DLCs and events. However, the latest hotfix update following Title Update 1.2.2 seems to have messed up certain rewards and items in the game.
The issue affects the rewards and items awarded during the Ostara season on March 18, 2021. Over the course of three weeks, the season brought in several quests, rewards, and collectible items.
Several reports have confirmed the fact that Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla Ostara Season rewards disappear after Title Update 1.2.2. The update fixes some crashing issues and the Feast UI issue.
All the items I obtained during the Ostara festival earlier this year have vanished. Hair styles, tattoos, settlement decorations etc. Has this happened to anyone else and how do you get the items back? (Source)
Did they remove Ostara accessories in the new update or is it just a glitch? The decorations for the village are there, it’s just the tattoos and hair that are gone (Source)
Players using skins, tattoos and other accessories and rewards obtained during the event reported that they were unable to use them unless they used another one.
Players also complained that they couldn’t call Synin if they were using the Ostara skin.
Ubisoft was quick to acknowledge the issue affecting the Ostara rewards. They said that the issue would be fixed in the coming update.
However, the company hasn’t shared any ETA for the update. We hope the issue gets fixed soon. Till then, make sure you equip other skins to avoid the aforementioned bugs.
