PiunikaWeb was the first major publication to highlight that MovieBox (available for iOS) has reportedly shut down and ShowBox (available on Android) has stopped working as well. For those who aren’t aware, both these are very popular movie/media streaming apps.
Let’s get one thing out of the way first: since we haven’t received (or even heard of) any official word from developers of these apps, it won’t be correct to say yet that these apps have been shut down.
However, the fact remains that these applications aren’t currently working, and users are looking for alternatives, so their entertainment remains unhindered.

We at PiunikaWeb are also doing the same, and as part of this effort, we are bringing to you a list of ShowBox alternatives that you can give a try.
Keep in mind that we haven’t tested any of these apps yet, so you may want to read more about these apps (especially if they are legal and all) before you finally start using them. So without further ado, here’s the list:
