Trying to reserve a house for the long weekend, and the site won’t let us book… for about an hour now.

Hello! I’m trying to cancel a booking, but I need to do so in the next few hours so I don’t lose the full refund. If I can’t cancel due to the technical issues, will you extend the deadline? Thanks 🙂

In addition to being unable to reserve places to stay, users cannot cancel reservations either. Also, multiple reports indicate that the outage has lasted at least 5 hours, which is a considerable amount of time.

it’s been at this for the past 5 hours , HURRY UP

Fortunately, the Airbnb team is already aware of the situation and working to resolve it. However, there is still no ETA for everything to work normally again.

We’re experiencing some unexpected technical issues with the website and our developers are working to resolve it. Thank you for your patience and stay tuned for an update.

We will update this story as events unfold.

Update 1 (Apr. 5, 2023)

09:05 am (IST): Airbnb team confirmed that the issue has been resolved. So, everything should be working correctly now.

10:46 am (IST): It seems that Airbnb users are again facing issues in the app, this time being unable to access their listings (they are missing or disappearing) and receiving errors (1, 2, 3).

Airbnb team recommended a potential workaround for both the website and the app:

Hi Peter, we recommend clearing the cache and cookies from your browser or load the site in an alternate browser. For mobile app, try to delete and reinstall the app before attempting again.
Source

However, a user reported that the workaround did not help.
