Destiny 2 doesn’t exactly provide a bug-free gaming experience and our previous coverages are a testament to that.
We have highlighted several issues over the past couple of months including Magnificent Solstice armor downgrade, error code Beagle, server error code Bat, error code Centipede, and Season of Splicer login crash.
Bungie is usually quick to address such problems though so kudos to that.
While some of the aforementioned issues still need to be resolved, a new one has come now into the picture that has prompted several complaints [1, 2, 3] from the Destiny 2 player base.
Bungie, the new Dreaming City weapons (Twilight Oath, Tigerspite, and Abide the Return) are NOT dropping. If you look any of them up on light.gg, you’ll see that 0% of the community got their new perks. Now, this might not be a bug. They might not be available yet. With that said, in the TWAB they said they would be available on Tuesday and they’re NOT.

I’ve heard others mentioning that the three reprised DC weapons added with Tuesday’s patch aren’t dropping from any DC sources and I’ve done a number of Legendary reward bounties since then and none have given the new weapons.

As it stands, reissued Dreaming City weapons have still not dropped for Destiny 2 players despite TWAB’s (This Week at Bungie) announcement from June 24 that said that the remaining Moon and Dreaming City weapons with new perks were scheduled for July 6.
For the uninitiated, Dreaming is a location featured in Destiny 2: Forsaken that features a raid in the city’s core and serves as a major endgame destination. It can be accessed following the completion of the Forsaken campaign and is located within The Reef.
Anyway, players say that the new Dreaming City weapons (Twilight Oath, Tigerspite, and Abide the Return) have still not been made available and that 0% of the community has gotten their new perks till now, which is plain disappointing.
A part of the community suspects that only people that never got the Dreaming City weapons before can currently acquire the reprised versions, due to which, the majority of the community has virtually been locked out.
Whatever the case, Bungie has now issued an acknowledgment on Twitter saying that they are investigating the problem due to which reissued Dreaming City weapons are not dropping for players as intended on Destiny 2.
While an ETA was not given out, it is safe to assume that the issue will be resolved pretty soon.
