Ever since its release in 2015, Rainbow Six Siege is one of the most played online multiplayer tactical shooting game.

Since then, the game has had numerous issues, one of which is the infamous Rainbow Six Siege cursor bug.

Rainbow Six Siege players have complained about the issue for years, with the bug first reported back in 2015.

Players have reported the bug every now and then, only to be ignored by Ubisoft. The cursor bug happens at the start of the round and hampers the player from moving the cursor or changing the character direction.

There have been various instances of people complaining every few months, with some reports indicating that Ubisoft was aware of the bug even in 2019.

Cursor stuck on screen and mouse won’t move my position, any idea how to fix? (Source)

While a couple of players say that they can fix it using the “Alt + Tab” combo a couple of times, most gamers say restarting the game is the only solution.

Fortunately, Ubisoft has finally acknowledged the issue and is working on a fix. However, the company hasn’t given any ETA when the issue will be fixed. It might take days or weeks before the company fixes the issue.

In the meantime, players are left at the mercy of the game and can only hope that they do not encounter the cursor bug.

Since the only way to fix the issue right now is by restarting the game, players say they usually lose a round or two when they come back.

This is causing a lot of frustration for everyone because the whole team loses MMR and Win Rate.
