COD Mobile gun glitch (unable to select weapon) after hot drop issue yet to be fixed

COD Mobile is one of the most popular multiplayer games on the mobile platform. Since its launch, it has been downloaded more than 500 million times.

Its massive popularity has resulted in the game being a direct competitor to PUBG Mobile. But, like PUBG Mobile, COD Mobile has its fair share of bugs, with one of the oldest being the infamous gun glitch.

In the last few months, various players have repeatedly reported that they cannot select a weapon right after picking up the weapon.

This has proven to be quite frustrating for some because if they hot drop in an area with multiple enemies, the only way for them to survive is sheer luck.

That said, some players also report missing or invisible loot and loot crates right after landing in an area.

The issue has been plaguing players for months now, with some users reporting it four months ago.

Many users are frustrated that instead of fixing the issue, Activision focuses on bringing in more features and cosmetics to the game.

Players have reported that the gun glitch and loot bug are most noticeable when landing in an area with other players. But, others suggest that it also happens to them when they are alone in an area.

If you are experiencing the gun glitch in COD Mobile, try to switch to FPP then switch back to TPP. Keep in mind that this is just a temporary workaround suggested by a user, so we have no idea if it works or not.

In case you do not see any loot when you land in an area, you might have to wait for some time before the textures load.

We think the two bugs might be related to each other since players experience it right after they land anywhere on the map. It is quite rare to see such game-breaking bugs still haunting players after almost 2 years of release.
