The sub-brand from Vivo, iQOO, has been operating independently, and users are taking quite some liking to its device like the iQOO 7 and 7 Legend.

The iQOO 7 and 7 Legend offer Android 11 out-of-the-box along with some flagship-level specs like the Snapdragon 888 5G SoC.

However, iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Legend users are having a tough time lately due to an issue related to the display. As per multiple reports, several users of the duo are experiencing the green tint issue.

Some user reports further indicate that the said green tint issue occurs when the screen brightness is at 50% or below.

@IqooInd hey guys is it normal?? My Iqoo 7 just arrived today. The display has a green tint and looks really grainy in dark mode. Please help me.

I think both the iqoo 7 and 7 legend have display issues like green tint and pixel issue on brightness below 50% i can easily notice that on grey background and that’s major problem for me please confirm it if you also have the same issuesSource

While this issue might be related to hardware, probably the high-refresh rate AMOLED displays on which the green tint problem is quite common, it is also possible that software could be to blame.

In the former case, there is nothing much that the Vivo sub-brand, iQOO, will be able to do for affected iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Legend users.

However, this is still based on speculation as the OEM has not made any comments on the matter so far.

Therefore, it is unclear whether the green tint issue on iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Legend is related to software and if an update can fix the same or not.

Hopefully, iQOO provides more clarity on the matter soon as this issue is inconveniencing many.
