Here's possibly why Android 11 update for Xiaomi Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro & Redmi K30 Pro/Poco F2 Pro hasn't rolled out widely

Android 11 is the new kid on the block and already, a few devices have bagged an update to this new version of Android.

At the time of writing, we have seen Xiaomi release beta stable update to Android 11 for the Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, and K30 Pro.

This is available for Chinese users of the K30 Pro while users of both Chinese and Global variants of Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro have this build.

Since these are stable beta builds, they are only available to a select few users of these devices in the respective markets.

But ever since we saw the initial rollout, things have remained quiet in Xiaomi’s camp with little explanation on the current state of the builds.

Well, up until now. In the latest MIUI 12 beta release notes, we finally get a little insight into what is happening.

In the release notes for MIUI 12 beta 20.10.22, it is revealed that there are audio stability issues plaguing the trio’s MIUI 12/Android 11 beta firmware.

Due to the optimization of audio stability, the release of Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 and Redmi K30 Pro is suspended today. It is expected to be reissued before 20 o’clock on 10.23. Thank you for your understanding

Seeing as the development of MIUI 12 public beta is closely tied to the stable development, a delay in one stage is directly translated to the other channels.

Subsequently, it is revealed that the MIUI 12/Android 11 beta firmware’s latest edition has been suspended for these three devices.

It is worth noting that being an early build of Android 11, there are bound to be issues and bugs and this audio stability issue might not be the only problem.
