New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on October 01, 2020) follows:

Xiaomi has been working on Android 11 for quite some time and some devices have even received the stable version of the latest OS.

We reported earlier today that the Mi 10 received the Android 11 stable update in China as version 12.1.5.0.RJBCNXM.

Now, it seems that the Redmi K30 Pro, also known as Poco F2 Pro globally, is also getting the stable Android 11 update.

The OEM is yet to make an announcement on the matter but it seems that the latest OS update is indeed live over the air albeit for select users.

Nevertheless, if you want to install the update manually, here is the download link. Also, be sure to refer to these workarounds in case you come across any errors while manually installing the update.

  • Device: Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro
  • Codename: lmi
  • Channel: China Stable
  • Version: V12.1.3.0.RJKCNXM
  • Android: 11
    • Type: Recovery
      • Download: Link
      • MD5: 8e7f89c77a926e4877967019f9645b90

It must be noted that this is a Chinese ROM which does not include any Google apps and services. Also, it must not be flashed on the Poco F2 Pro as it is meant for the Redmi K30 Pro only.

Moreover, those who are not familiar with manual installation should wait for the stable Android 11 update to arrive on their Redmi K30 Pro.

Apart from that, Xiaomi has been pretty quick with the latest OS update this time considering Android 11 was released not so long ago.

This clearly indicates that the OEM intends to provide all eligible devices with the Android 11 update as soon as possible.

Also, owners of the global variants of Mi 10 and Poco F2 Pro should also expect the Android 11 stable update in the near future.

This is simply due to the fact that the OEM has already provided the global Mi 10 Pro variant with the stable version of Android 11.

While the OEM is yet to make an announcement on the matter, we hope the global Mi 10 and Redmi K30 Pro (Poco F2 Pro) variants also get the Android 11 stable update soon.

That said, we will keep tracking the development of Android 11 and will provide updates once more information becomes available.

In the meantime, you can check out our Xiaomi Android 11 update tracker to stay updated on the topic.

Furthermore, we have also curated a consolidated Android 11 update tracker for all major OEMs and carriers so be sure to go through it as well.
