Jailbreak tweaks come in various forms. From tweaks that aim to make you more productive by offering a little more functionality, to many that are merely aesthetic tweaks.
We have covered countless tweaks that users with jailbroken iOS devices can take advantage of, you can check those out in our dedicated Jailbreak tweak section.
For users who have not jailbroken their devices yet, checkra1n is our recommended tool for attaining that. This is because this tool is frequently updated to fix bugs and to add support for the very latest version of iOS.
That said, today we cover yet another cosmetic-oriented jailbreak tweak, Aux. Aux is an upcoming jailbreak tweak, developed by Obumbravit. This tweak seeks to change the way iOS handles the Now Playing notification.
According to the developer, “Aux brings a clean now playing view across your device, with multiple elegant styles and customization options.”
Little else is known about the specifics of how this tweak will work, or even what features will be included in the initial release so that remains to be seen.
It is also unclear how well this tweak will work with notchless devices but the developer promises that this will work just as well on the notched devices as it will on the notchless ones.
This tweak is yet to be officially unveiled. The developer adds that when it does, it will only support iOS 13, but this will change quickly. This means that support for older versions of iOS will soon be added to the tweak in subsequent releases.
This tweak will be available for free and will be released soon on the developer’s repo.
