The jailbreak community is vibrant today more than ever and it goal is to get a little more functionality and customizability out of iOS. With the help of regularly-updated and well-maintained jailbreak tools like Checkra1n, it is easier to jailbreak your device today more than ever.

We have seen a wide variety of jailbreak tweaks to take advantage of jailbreak. These range from tweaks that display random messages when you shake your device to playful ones and more functional ones like Multipla.

Omega Jailbreak Tweak

Today we add yet another tweak, Omega. This jailbreak tweak is among the more functional ones we have covered in our jailbreak tweak section. Omega seeks to being a little more functionality to iOS’ power-down menu.

When you long-press your power button on iOS, by default you are offered only a few i\options, among them, the option to power off your device or to restart. Omega tried to improve that experience by bringing the following features.

– Customizable layout, behavior, and colors

– Smooth and modern default presets

– Entrance and exit animations

– The ability to reboot userspace instead of a total reboot

– The ability to share and save preferences

– More to come

According to the developer of this tweak, Omega supports iOS 12 and 13 as well as A12. It may work on iOS 11 and below as well but that has not been tested so far.

The developer hopes to have this tweak ready for release within the week. Once available, this tweak will run you a cool $1-2 although the price has not been officially set.

Omega will also get regular updates and support so you can be sure that the developer plans to continue fulfilling feature requests. The developer also guarantees as much customization as possible to this tweak.
