[Japan as well] Three (UK) Huawei Mate 20 Pro EMUI 10 (Android 10) update arrives, Huawei Mate 30 Pro gets new update

If you own a Huawei Mate 20 Pro or a Mate 30 Pro then, there are new updates available for download. Notably, the EMUI 10 (Android 10) update for the Mate 20 Pro is now live for Three carrier users in the UK.

Moreover, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is also being served with the Android 10 based EMUI 10 update. Taking about the update for the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, it arrives with the version number V10.0.0.191.

The update weighs in around 605 MB and brings some tweaks for the network, games, camera and touchscreen issues for the device.

However, as per a comment, users of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro in the US are getting the update with a version number ‘193’. But it seems like a typing error.

Coming to the update pushed for the Three carrier network users in the UK of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, it arrives with the version number V10.0.0.180 and weighs in a chunky 4.52 GB in size. So, it is advised to use a stable internet or WiFi connection to download the update.

This new update brings in all the new features of the EMUI 10 for the Mate 20 Pro along with the goodies of Android 10. Previously we reported that the EMUI 10 updates are resumed for the Mate 20 Pro via the HiCare app.

We also came up with a report that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro EMUI 10 (Android 10) update on EE (UK) might roll out in April 2020.  However, users of the UK carrier O2 reportedly started receiving the Android 10 update just a couple of days before.

Keep in mind the OTA updates for both Huawei Mate 20 Pro and 30 Pro is being pushed via OTA and will take some time in hitting all the units. If the OTA hasn’t hit your unit, check manually by going to Settings > System > Software Update > Check for Updates.

The update is now live for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro users on Orange carrier network in Romania.

Users in Japan are receiving the updates on the Mate 20 Pro.
