New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on December 17, 2020) follows:
Poco entered the global and Indian market with a bang. The OEM’s first phone, Pocophone F1 (Poco F1), disrupted the segment it arrived in, helping Poco build a huge community of users.
Recent Poco devices are mostly rebadged Redmi devices. But after being associated with Xiaomi as a sub-brand for over 2 years, Poco finally took the call to go autonomous.
Poco’s business roadmap is only known to the top minds in the company. But questions on software updates, future support for devices, and more such queries will soon be addressed through their new initiative called, Poco Connect.
Even after splitting, Poco doesn’t seem keen to develop their own skin, not at least for sometime soon. Poco users on the other hand would welcome it if Poco tries out something on their own, as this poll suggests.
Back in November, the company’s global spokesperson dropped a hint that a dedicated Poco Community forum was in the works.
This came amidst the Indian government’s ban on the Mi Community, shutting it down completely. As a result, Poco users at this moment do not have many choices to interact with their fellow peers or company officials.
But a Poco Community set up seems closer than expected. The same executive from the last hint has once again ignited excitement among Poco users. This is what he says this time.
Last month during our #POCOM3 launch, we mentioned we will be pushing out #POCOCommunity. Based on my sources Zipper-mouth faceShushing face, it’s already out there operatingStar-struck, just need to find out what the link is! Any guesses fans #POCO
Angus chose to keep the link of the community confidential for now. But keeping something secret when you have so many James Bond around seems a tough task.
A website link is floating on the very same tweet which when opened, appears to be quite legit. Although there’s no word on its authenticity, users are already relishing their new place to hang out.
Poco Community alleged link
In addition to this, a Poco Community app is also reportedly in the works. However, it’d take some more time for it to go live.
This indeed is exciting as Poco will have a dedicated community that would also comply with the Indian Government’s guidelines. This opens up a new window for Poco Global and Indian users.
Now that developments up to this extent have already been conducted, an official announcement should also follow soon.
It’d be exciting to see how engaging and successful this community can become where its competing brands already hold a strong ground.
With that said, we at PiunikaWeb assure to fetch the latest developments in this domain and provide our users with exciting news.
