Redmi Note 8 Pro users were waiting quite eagerly for the Android 10 update on their devices. Since this is going to be the first major OS upgrade for the device, the excitement can be well understood.

In line with this, Xiaomi Indonesia GM Alvin Tse came out on Twitter and confirmed that Android 10 is a guaranteed update for owners of the device outside China.

Then, yesterday, we came out with a report, that the Chinese users are receiving the Android 10 beta stable (meaning the final/stable update for those who enrolled in the beta program before releasing the update globally to all) update for the Redmi Note 8 Pro.

And cut to now, in a recent development, the Android 10 beta stable update has gone live for the European users of Redmi Note 8 Pro as well.

It was announced in the official community forum, but there was no mention of the changelog in the post. The update will be hitting the units with version number V11.0.2.0.QGGEUXM via OTA and weighs in around 1.9 GB in size.

What’s more interesting is that users have already started receiving this beta stable update and one user from Pakistan has shared the screenshot of the update which tells us that the update is bringing in the February 2020 security patchset.

So, as per all these information, Redmi Note 8 Pro users who have enrolled in the Android 10 beta program are being served with the final/stable beta update.

And if no major issue or bugs pops-up with this beta update, then the stable Android 10 update for the users will be rolled out globally.
