OnePlus has always presented itself to be one of the smartphone brands that will break the barriers. Initially, the Chinese OEM came up with flagship-level phones under the price of mid-ranger.

Progressing further, OnePlus brought in the high refresh rate screen (90Hz display) with the OnePlus 7 Pro, which is probably the main reason why high-refresh-rate displays have become one of the important features of modern smartphones.

In fact, in terms of providing timely security and firmware updates has also been one of the USPs of the company. For a reminder, OnePlus 7/7 Pro got the Android 10 update just after 20 days it came out for Google Pixel phones.

Older OnePlus smartphones are also treated well by the OEM and in a recent development, a new update has been pushed by the company for the OnePlus 6/6T.

Notably, this stable update brings in the February 2020 security patchset for the devices along-with bugfixes for screen flickering issues while swiping up to unlock.
