Original story (published on Feb 27) follows:

VoWiFi or WiFi calling is one of the features that are in huge demand from the users in India from their OEMs. In fact, major OEMs like OnePlus, Realme, Nokia, Xiaomi, and many others have already extended VoWiFi support for their devices.

However, quite a few smartphone brands like Huawei/Honor is yet to enable this feature for their compatible devices. In fact, earlier we have reported that WiFi calling feature (VoWiFi) for Huawei and Honor devices will arrive soon.

Readers should note that not all the smartphones available in the market will be getting the VoWiFi feature. Matter of fact, devices like Honor View 10 and quite a few Xiaomi devices (Mi A3, Mi A2 (Lite), & Mi A1) also do not support this feature, for which the smartphone OEM is to be blamed.

Now, as per recent reports, responded to a query about VoWiFi, the official Huawei India Twitter handle has responded that the WiFi calling feature is still under development and will be made available once it is available.
