One of the major US carrier networks, Verizon has pushed in the latest security patchsets for three of its models. Notably, Moto G6 Play, LG G5 Stylo and Samsung Galaxy Tab A are being served with the February 2020 security update.
Moreover, the updates for all the devices are purely incremental in nature and there are no other enhancements and features included with these updates.
Let us take a look at the updates received on each of the devices, one by one:
Moto G6 Play
Motorola unveiled the Moto G6 Play, back in 2018 and it comes with Android Oreo out of the box. For a quick specs review, it comes with Snapdragon 430 chipset paired with 2/3 GB of RAM and offers up to 32 GB of onboard storage.
It sports a 5.7-inch display with a 5 MP selfie camera at the front and a 13 MP rear shooter. There is a back-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.
Now talking about the update, it arrives with the version number PDPS29.118-67-5. Below is the official changelog of the update along with the screenshot of the update tracker:

Talking about the Android 10 update for the Moto G6 Play, the scenario seems similar to that of the Moto G6 Plus. It has been confirmed by a Motorola rep that the Android 10 update will not be arriving (at least officially!) for the G6 Plus.
Interestingly, the official Twitter handles of Motorola Global and Moto Brasil have denied any information related to Moto G6 Play either.
It is a pleasure to greet you. I am glad to answer your question!
I tell you that we do not have any information at this time about Android 10 plans. We will communicate later in the year when we have fully evaluated the software.(Source)
