Original story (from Feb 11) follows:
Good news for LG V50 ThinQ users in the US. If you have been waiting for the Android 10 update, the rollout has begun in your country. For now, units on Sprint are getting it first, at least if you go by the latest reports.
Android 10 is out for the LG V50!
Just started downloading – thanks!
These comments have been taken from a discussion thread on Reddit where-in the original poster (or OP as they say in Reddit lingo) also shared a couple of images to back their claim. Here you go:
So you can see, the LG V50 Android 10 update carries a build number of QKQ1.191021.002, software version of V450P20a, which brings along the Android security patch for the month of January.
These are the only reports we could find at the moment, but we’re sure many more users should have received the update by now as firmware updates usually go out in phases.
Earlier last month, there were reports of the update going live in South Korea, and a few days later, we were also able to get our hands on the Sprint build, which indicated an imminent US roll out.
If you haven’t received the update yet, we advise you to wait as it won’t be long before the notification pops up on your device. And if you’ve already received the update, do let us know in the comments below how the new OS is treating you.
Update 1 (Feb 19)
The rollout has been expanded and the Android 10 update is now hitting LG V50 devices in the European region. Details here.
Update 2 (Feb 25)
The update is now available for LG V50 variants on EE network.
