Original story (from Feb 24) follows:
Google has recently unveiled Android 11 developer preview. However, many consumers are still waiting for the previous version to arrive on their devices. If you are one of them and want to know about latest Android 10 releases, you can have a look at here.
Oppo has revamped their interface and released it as ColorOS 7 based on Android 10. A few days ago, we have shared with you the revised roadmap of their update plan. Yesterday, the company indicated their schedule to untie the trial version to a phone.
From the specs, one can easily perceive the device they were referring to is Oppo A9. Moreover, the roadmap also says this particular phone will receive ColorOS 7 (Android 10) in Q1 2020. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has made it official.
The consumers have started jumping onto the bandwagon right away by sending the application. The first batch will only take 5000 applicants from India. Meaning, they planned to send the update as “first come, first serve” basis.
In case you happen to be an Oppo A9 user, you need to go to Settings>> Software Update. From there, you should tap the gear-like button to get Trial Version. Once you get to this step, only agreeing to T&C and tapping the Apply Now button are left to get you the form.
Provided that you manage to make it into the list before the quota goes full, you will receive the update within three days. The OEM has teased the whole process on Twitter via a video, which you can see below.
