New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on February 21, 2020) follows:
Since the beginning of a new year, Samsung has really taken up the task of pushing out the Android 10 updates for its devices more rapidly. And in a recent development, Samsung has pushed in the One UI 2.0 (Android 10) update for the Galaxy A70 smartphone.
Notably, among the Galaxy A series, recently 2 other phones got updated to One UI 2.0 i.e. Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30.
One UI 2.0 brings in a lot of new features for the device like new navigation gestures, new redesigned camera UI, built-in screen recorder, new gestures for enabling one-hand mode, Digital Wellbeing, Dark Mode, etc.
Talking about the Galaxy A70, it was launched back in 2019 and sports features like Snapdragon 675, 6/8 GB of RAM, a massive 4,500 mAh battery, a 6.7-inch display.
In the camera department, it features a triple camera setup with a 32 MP primary shooter and in the front, there is a 32 MP selfie camera. The Galaxy A70 offers up to 128 GB of onboard storage and also has an under-display fingerprint scanner as well.
Coming back to the update, it arrives with the version number BTB9 and weighs in a massive 2.06 GB in size. So, we would recommend using a stable internet connection to download this update.
Moreover, this new update along with the Android 10 features, also bumps the security patch level to February 2020 for the Samsung Galaxy A70.
But, according to some reports on Telegram chat groups, the update (which rolled out in Ukraine region) went live only for some hours and was pulled back from the servers after it was rolled out.
However, there is no confirmation about this as of yet so, everything related to this should be taken with a pinch of salt. We will keep you in the loop once we have more information in this regard.
