GWENT: The Witcher Card Game arrived on iOS in October 2019. At the time – and for obvious reasons – Android users started asking questions of when they’ll also get to enjoy the standalone version of The Witcher’s card game.

This came after months of waiting following an earlier announcement back in March 2019 confirming the future availability of the game on smartphones. At the time, the game developer had the below statement to say:

As seen in the screengrab above, the developer didn’t mention any specific dates of availability. But when the game arrived on iOS, it was promised that Android users will get it in Q1 2020.

GWENT is currently available for iOS, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. CD PROJEKT RED is currently working on the Android version of the game, scheduled for release in Q1 2020.

Halfway through Q1 2020, CD PROJEKT RED has now opened registration for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game on Android for interested gamers ahead of official availability, possibly in March.

The iOS version is compatible with iPhone 6S and above. You can also play it on the 5th-generation iPad and above, but the best part is that you can play the game in 4K on more powerful Apple devices.

As for Android, it’s unclear which versions of the OS will be supported, but you can rest assured that at least Android 10 is supported. If interested, you can submit your registration in the Google Play Store via this link and as you can see, there is a reward for those who pre-register.
