OnePlus has had probably one of the best (if not the best) years back in 2019. OnePlus 7 Pro went on to become the best smartphone of the year thanks to its great flagship specs (not to forget the 90 Hz refresh rate display).
Following this, the company launched the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro devices that packed in the Snapdragon 855+ processor along with a slightly bigger battery and a macro camera.
However, in a recent development, according to the users of T-Mobile OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition, the unlock token is reportedly not working. The error shows to enter a valid IMEI number even after putting a valid IMEI. You can check various the user reports below:

In fact, one user on Twitter had a chat with OnePlus support and even shared the screenshot of the same.

please look at this One plus is blaming T-Mobile after failing to provide support on our issue of unlocking the bootloader. I love my McLaren 5g despite OnePlus failure to give us support.(Source)

If we could get someone to take responsibility for 990015 prefix IMEI in the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren 5G getting PCBA code of this IMEI number cannot be found when attempting bootloader unlock, that’d be great. Should we refund?(Source)
Although users have tried contacting T-Mobile and OnePlus Support, they were unsuccessful in finding a fix for this issue from either of the two.
It will be interesting to see who will take responsibility for fixing this issue on the T-Mobile OnePlus 7T Pro Mclaren edition phone. Till then, we will keep you in the loop until we have more information in this regard.
