Will OnePlus 8 Pro support wireless charging?

OnePlus 8 Pro is one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year thanks to all the rumors and leaks surrounding the device. The device is rumored to have quite a few new features up its sleeves.

Firstly, we have reported that it is almost certain that OnePlus 8 Pro will come with a punch hole 120Hz display which was leaked a few days ago. Now in a recent report, one of the major features that was missing from all the previous generation OnePlus devices is finally going to arrive with OnePlus 8 Pro.

Yes, we are talking about wireless charging support. The rumor mill is pretty hot that wireless charging will finally make its way with OnePlus 8.

A cryptic tweet from tipster Max J. indicates that wireless charging is in the cards for the OnePlus 8 Pro. In fact, the tweet also mentions a line that says ‘Charge like a Pro’ and contains a mock-up image showcasing a new smartphone on top of a wireless charging pad.

In the past, OnePlus phones have avoided the wireless charging feature due to overheating issues. But, now according to a report, it seems that the company has been able to come up with a workaround for introducing this popular feature.

However, the WARP Charge feature has done a great job in place of wireless charging for the OnePlus devices and users do not seem to complain much about it.
