New OPPO Find X2 leaks reveal display specifications

Chinese phone makers are really making a name for themselves in this industry. Xiaomi continues to release very well spec’d devices at a fraction of the competition’s price. OPPO continues to innovate, and Android is a better platform for it.

OPPO Find X was a masterpiece when it launched. The device found a way to do away with the notch that was ubiquitous in the market at the time, using a slide-up mechanism.

But that was back in June 2018 and the device is long overdue for an update. Well, while it has been confirmed that there will be a successor, little has been available in terms of leaks about the OPPO Find X2. Until now.

Renowned Weibo blogger, digital chat station has unveiled Oppo Find X2 display specification on the platform. From the leaks, we are meant to believe that the OPPO Find X2 is equipped with a Samsung-made curved OLED display.

According to the leaks, the Find X2 will have a resolution of 3168×1440, spanning across 6.5 inches. The display will also support upto 120Hz refresh rate.

The device should also allow for options to set any of these parameters in a way that helps save battery. This means users can choose between 60 and 120Hz, and FHD+/QHD+.

Previous leaks of the OPPO Find X2 from the same tipster hint towards a number of unsurprising internals. Moreover, the device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset plus the X55 baseband 5G modem.

The device can also sport an LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.0 storage. Being an OPPO device and knowing the company’s push with fast charging, it is, therefore, no surprise that the device is expected to support quick charging up to 56W.

Other OPPO Find X2 rumours surrounding the camera indicate that the device will feature a triple camera setup. These cameras will be aligned in the form of a crescent moon on the rear panel. The device is also rumoured to include a new flagship Sony sensor.
