Huawei started the EMUI 10 (Android 10) beta recruitment for the Huawei Mate 20 X back in October 2019 in Europe. And a few days back, the update started rolling out for the Mate 20 series.

Cut to now, in a recent development, the Android 10 (EMUI 10) stable update is finally starting to roll out for the Huawei Mate 20 X.

Not long ago, we have reported that the 5G variant of the Huawei Mate 20 X grabbed the EMUI 10 stable update in Europe and now it seems like the update is being pushed for the 4G variant in other regions as well.

Notably, the early build of the EMUI 10 carried version number V10.0.0.180 for the Huawei Mate 20 X.

And the users who are on this build, are getting incremental updates with different builds, for instance, V10.0.0184 in Austria, V10.0.0.188 in India, and V10.0.0.183 in Singapore. As evident from the screenshots above, the size of the update also varies for the different regions.

Not only this, the wider rollout of the Huawei Mate 20 X EMUI 10 stable update has commenced. It is hitting the units with version number V10.0.0.184 and weighs in around 4.41 GB in size.

This new update brings in all the EMUI 10 and Android 10 specific features like the new user interface, new animations and design elements, GPU Turbo, increased security, etc for the phone.

It is being pushed via OTA in batches and will take some time in hitting all the units. However, you can go ahead and manually check for the update by heading to System>>Software Update>>Check for updates.

If there is a new update notification then you can tap on it and install the update on your device.

Update (March 11)

The EMUI 10 update is now live for the users in UAE for the Huawei Mate 20 X. It is arriving with the version number V10.0.0.183 via OTA.
