New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on January 18, 2020) follows:

Xiaomi has a bunch of smartphones under the mid-range segment. Moreover, the company disrupted the smartphone market, especially in India via these budget-to-mid-range smartphones.

In fact, over the years, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has added a lot of new featureful mid-rangers that pack in some awesome specs for the price.

Recently back in 2019, they added yet another decent mid-ranger called the Redmi Note 8 Pro in their portfolio. To recall, the device packs in Helio G9oT chipset, 6/8 GB of RAM, a 6.53-inch display, 4,500 mAh battery.

And if you are the owner of the Redmi Note 8 Pro in China, then you are in for a treat as the Android 10 stable update is available for download.

For a reminder, PiunikaWeb reader should know that the device got the Android 10 beta update with MIUI 11 back in November 2019 in China.

Besides, the update packs in all the goodies of the latest Android 10 OS. In fact, we have reported that the Widevine issue i.e. HD streaming in Netflix, is expected to get resolved with the Android 10 update. We have to wait for the confirmation from the users whether this update fixes this or not.
