Samsung’s premium flagship range i.e. the Galaxy S-series and Note series were the top performers of the brand for several years.

However, back in 2019, the Korean OEM brought in powerful mid-rangers and budget devices (Galaxy M-series) in a very competitive price tag that changed the scenario.

Besides, the past couple of months has been great for Samsung smartphone users. Not only new security updates started pushing out for the devices, but One UI 2.0 (Android 10) beta was also served for compatible devices.

And as the new year has taken off, there is a lot much to look forward to, for Samsung, as they are due with the stable Android 10 update rollout for its devices and also the latest security patches.

In a recent turn of events, Samsung has pushed in a new beta for the US unlocked Galaxy S9 Plus. Notably, the update packs in the latest January 2020 patchset along with some bugfixes for the camera.

Moreover, previously back in December, we have reported that the US unlocked Galaxy S9/S9+ grabbed the One UI 2.0 (Android 10) 2nd beta update which also tagged along some bug fixes for the devices.

And now with this new beta update, it fixes the front camera HDR failure and bumps the security patch level to January 2020. It arrives with version number ZTA1 and weighs in around 226.46 MB in size.

Keep in mind that the update is being pushed via OTA in batches and will take some time in hitting all the units. However, you can also go ahead and check for the update notification by heading to Settings>>Software Update>>tap on Download and Install option.
